Nintendo thống trị 70% thị trường game Nhật Bản​

Hiện nay, gần 70 phần trăm doanh số phần mềm và phần cứng videogame tại Nhật Bản thuộc về các hệ máy của Nintendo theo số liệu mới nhất từ Media Create. Công ty này cũng cho biết đây là thị phần lớn nhất mà Nintendo từng nắm giữ trong suốt 5 năm qua.

Để chú giải thêm cho sự dẫn đầu hiện nay của Nintendo, Media Create đã quan sát toàn bộ diễn biến doanh số game trong suốt tháng 8. Media Create so sánh doanh số sau khi kết thúc đợt lễ hội Obon (kéo dài 2 tuần) qua các năm và nhận thấy năm 2012 chỉ đạt 90,32% của năm 2011 và 93,59% so với cùng kỳ năm 2010.

Phần cứng của Nintendo thống trị thị trường là một thực tế tại Nhật Bản khi mà hệ máy Nintendo 3DS liên tục đứng đầu trong suốt năm qua. Sự góp mặt gần đây của 3DS XL lại càng củng cố thêm vị thế của Nintendo. Cộng thêm dòng sản phẩm Wii và DSi đang khá trì trệ thì Nintendo vẫn chiến khoảng 75% thị trường phần cứng tại xứ sở Phù Tang. Sony nắm được hơn 23% một chút.

Về mảng phần mềm, top 10 game tuần qua tại thị trường Nhật Bản đều nằm trên các hệ máy của Nintendo. Trong đó New Super Mario Bros. 2 đã gần chạm ngưỡng một triệu bản. Tổng cộng, 69,74% số phần mềm bán ra tuần trước thuộc về máy Nintendo, so với 29,18% trên máy PlayStation.

- Project Diva F xuất hiện đã kéo doanh số của Vita nhảy vọt, mặc dù vẫn thấp hơn hai bản gần đây nhất trên PSP nhưng nó đã cho ta thấy một máy game không thể tồn tại nếu nó không được sự hỗ trợ của các nhà làm game và cũng cho thấy Vocaloid bá đạo như thế nào
- Devil Summoner và Senran Kagura Burst, một remake và một phần tiếp theo, cũng khởi đầu khá tốt, hy vọng ta sẽ thấy cả hai được bán trên đất Mỹ trong tương lai không xa.
- Pokemon tiếp tục chìm, nhường chỗ cho các game mới
- Một số game lạ hoắc và quái dị như Tousouchuu và Kobitodzukan lọt vào bảng xếp hạng cho thấy thị hiếu dân Nhật khác thường như thế nào
