Animal Crossing: New Leaf Vẫn Không Đủ Hàng Bán Tại Nhật

Tin buồn cho những ai chưa kịp sở hữu Animal Crossing: New Leaf và tin vui cho những nhà đầu tư của Nintendo. Tựa game đình đám Animal Crossing: New Leaf đã vượt qua tất cả các dự đoán của nhà sản xuất và đã bán sạch sẽ ở khắp mọi nơi.

Mặc dù đã được bơm thêm hàng trăm ngàn bản để chữa cháy tuần trước, nhưng cơn khát Animal Crossing: New Leaf vẫn chưa hề được tưới mát. Ngoài sức mua lớn của người dùng 3DS là nguyên nhân chính thì Nintendo cũng có một phần thiếu sót trong khâu chuẩn bị và dự đoán thị trường cho tựa game này.

Trong một đoạn clip dài 9 phút, ngài Iwata đã chính thức lên tiếng xin lỗi, cũng như có lời giải thích gửi đến các fan về hiện tượng khan hàng này.

Theo đó, do Animal Crossing: New Leaf phải lưu trữ rất nhiều thông tin trong file save của mình như thông tin về vật dụng, làng mạc, nhà cửa nên đã phải dùng một loại cart (băng game) đặc biệt mới với SLC-NAND để xử lý dữ liệu save lớn này. NAND là bộ nhớ flash được dùng nhiều trong các loại thẻ nhớ SD, USB hay ổ SSD. SLC-NAND có độ bền, tốc độ và những vùng chứa lớn. MLC-NAND thì hy sinh độ bền để có được mật độ dữ liệu lớn hơn. Nguồn cung cấp SLC-NAND, chip điều khiển để làm băng Animal Crossing: New Leaf được dự báo và chuẩn bị trước đã không thể theo kịp doanh số bán ra.

Để chuẩn bị lại lượng lớn chip này phải mất khoảng vài tháng, nên hiện tượng "sạch bóng" Animal Crossing: New Leaf có vẻ sẽ không thể giải quyết trong một sớm một chiều. Hiện Nintendo đang điều chỉnh dây chuyền sản xuất băng game của mình để san sẻ bớt một phần gánh nặng của Animal Crossing sang các tựa game cũng sử dụng băng SLC-NAND khác. Tuy nhiên, hãng sẽ không thể để Animal Crossing độc chiếm hoàn toàn số lượng chip nhớ còn lại này.

Ngài Iwata cũng không quên nhắc người dùng 3DS nếu muốn vẫn có thể tải Animal Crossing từ eShop nếu không muốn chờ đợi. Vào lúc này, tình trạng khan hiếm là có thật nhưng cuối năm nay, điều đó chắc chắn sẽ không xảy ra.

P.S: Nintendo 3DS vẫn tiếp tục chứng tỏ mình là người kế vị xứng đáng của DS. Hệ máy này đã bức phá với doanh số rất ấn tượng và liên tục dẫn đầu so với các hệ khác. Một hiện tượng đáng chú ý khác là tựa game Animal Crossing đã vượt ngưỡng 2 triệu bản (theo số liệu Famitsu) trong một thời gian rất ngắn. Dù cho phải chịu cảnh lượng hàng khan hiếm nhưng tựa game này đã qua mặt rất nhiều "ông lớn" đã từng phát hành trên 3DS trước đây.
